AT&T Digital Life’s History and Reputation

While AT&T has been in the business for more than a century, Digital Life was founded only in 2012. It is a subsidiary of AT&T Communications, a division of AT&T.

The company headquarters is in Dallas, Texas.

The company’s service network is available all throughout the country except in the following states:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Maine
  • Montana

  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • Vermont
  • Wyoming

The estimated number of its customers is from 400,000 to 500,000.

The service is, however, limited to a selected market. It caters only to residential customers living in residential buildings of five floors or less.

AT&T sees Digital Life as an end to end solution and as an ecosystem. By working with well-established brands, the company can provide more choices for the customers on how to best manage their digital lives.

The capabilities of Digital Life, backed-up by AT&T, make the company a formidable player regarding technological advancements in the home security and automation industry.

Digital Life fees are more expensive than those charged by other companies.

It is CSAA-Certified Five Diamond Central Station, and its residential monitoring station is UL-Listed.

In the Better Business Bureau, AT&T Digital Life does not have a separate record. It is lumped with the records of AT&T Mobility and has an A+ rating. AT&T Mobility is not accredited by BBB.

Of the customer reviews on AT&T, only a few were for Digital Life. The positive review was about customer service while the AT&T alarm system complaints were about the price, fees, and contract duration.
